Brotherhood Community Ministries
Brotherhood Community Ministries provides a pre-school for up to 35 at-risk children during the school year, as well as a six-week summer day camp for neighborhood children ages 5-12.

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit Christian housing ministry working in partnership with low-income families to improve the conditions in which they live. Habitat is a practical way to "love one another." Westwood joins the Presbytery and other churches in building a house each Fall, but volunteers are needed throughout the year.

Meals-On-Wheels
Meals-On-Wheels is a nationwide non-profit organization that provides meals to those who are homebound or handicapped. Two teams of Westwood volunteers deliver prepared meals each Monday. Each route takes about two hours; volunteers rotate weeks of delivery.

Red Cross Blood Drive
Westwood joins five other Westside churches in hosting six Red Cross Blood Drives each year. The next blood drive is Monday, Oct. 12, 1:30-5:30 p.m. at Westwood. To make an appointment to donate blood, call 268-0835. Walk-ins are always welcome! In addition to giving blood, volunteers are needed to greet or escort donors, serve in the canteen, bake pies, and help unload and load equipment.

Schools Outreach
The Westwood Presbyterian Women's group collects school supplies each year for Benton and Cloud Elementary Schools. At Christmas, the Care Ministries Department coordinates the adoption of several families by Westwood individuals and groups; food and gifts are collected and delivered to homes.
