Paxton's Blessing Box
Paxton's box is one of Westwood's local community service projects. The women's group at Westwood purchase non-perishable food and stock the small pantry each month. Posted on the box is the message:
Take a blessing when you need one. Leave a blessing when you can.
We encourage others to get involved in their community by helping when able. For more information click below.
Service Sundays
A couple of times during the year Westwood works on community projects to help those in needs after a short Sunday message.
Neighborhood Night Out
Every fall Westwood hosts a family festival for the community. This includes games, inflatables, music, a cook-out, face painting for the kids, and more.
Annual Westwood Garage Sale
Westwood is well-known for hosting a vibrant, well-organized garage sale each year to help support our local community as well as fund for mission trips abroad. Come check out our next garage sale and see if you can't find some treasures.
Community Clean-up
Westwood members also help out in the community by participating in the Neighbor-to-neighbor where they help others clean-up yards, trim up bushes, etc. Many of our members definitely have a green thumb.
